　　B: nikky, if u have your kids now, what u try to teach them besides letting your kids eat well, they don’t eat so much sugar, your Americans pay a large attention on the diet, I mean , u have to watch for your kids.【注】美国人吃饭像吃药一样，这个含有多少脂肪，那个含有多少糖份，都算的清清楚楚。

　　N: I cant tell u that , I don’t have any kids(我说不出来，我现在还没有孩子呢)

　　B: just imagine

　　N: hmm, I probably take care of early enough in their lives.

　　B: what about the drug, and the sex issues?

　　N: I talk to them when they are old enough, for 10 somehow, I tell them about drugs, I tell them about sex, I tell them about things that they think are just gross and they roll their eyes.(我会在他们足够大的时候，比如说10岁的时候告诉他们一些事情，毒品呀，性呀等等，他们对这些事情是懵懂的，告诉他们以后就可以提高他们的辨别力了)

　　B: because it is important to know

　　N: yeah, it is important

　　B: but here in china, usually the parents wont anyway tell their kids about the sex, even they know it is important to have knowledge.(在中国，父母好象不大情愿告诉小孩们有关性的话题，尽管他们明白这很重要)

　　N: why?

　　B: because it is something they are hiding to bring up, a bit embarrassed.(比较尴尬，所以才难于启齿吧)

　　N: but they got to know about that, and learn what sex is, the earlier they know, the better.(知道的越早，对孩子就越好)

　　B: yes, that’s a huge difference between us, I think, but we will see the change.

　　N: yes, that will do well sort of later on.(是的，会慢慢好起来的)

　　N: right.

　　B: thnx

　　N: I see that.

　　B: I see u see that, J

　　N: brian, I get a new phone card, do u need me to call u now?(brian，我买新电话卡了，要我给你打电话吗？)

　　B: I’d rather wait a little longer instead.

　　N: :) u don’t want to hear my voice?

　　B: I surely like your voice and want to talk to u, but I prefer to do it later, I don’t want to change the current all of sudden, u know?

　　N: ok, u are a good English writer, but not a good speaker, J

　　B: wrong, nikky, I concentrate more on speaking than writing, u will see that , even I don’t talk to a lot of people. (我花在说上的时间比写要多，你会发现的，虽然我不是很善言辞)

　　N: just joke, I know your English is excellent, u know, better than some of my American partners, really.

　　B: really?

　　N: really.

　　B: u are flattering me again!
