　　Brian: she is fine.

　　Brian: and she is the best mom on earth, and the unconditional(无条件的) love.

　　Nikky: she has brothers and sisters?

　　Brian: a family of five. (我妈妈有兄弟姐妹5个)

　　Nikky: five?

　　Brian: yes, five.

　　Nikky: that's a large family.

　　Brian: it is.

　　Nikky: are they all ok? (他们都好么？)

　　Brian: well, yes, they're all whacko(英国用法，表示顶呱呱) , my two cousins(表兄)r in Wuhan, Hubei province.

　　Nikky: how r they doing?

　　Brian: they r good, both in the universities, the older is for P-H-D, the other is yet to graduate for a J-O-B.

　　【注】我有两个表兄，一个堂哥，一个堂弟，堂哥是在武汉大学国际金融系读博士，堂弟即将从武汉一大学毕业，还没有找到合适的工作，今年的工作真难找！

　　Nikky: did the younger get an offer?

　　Brian: he got some offers, but he turned a lot down(他拒绝了很多公司的邀请), and somehow I thought, who knows, u know, what he wanted , accountant(会计), he like probably.

　　Nikky: he still has time to be away of the clock in days.

　　(clock in这个词组一下子把我难倒了，如果是一个外国人站在我面前跟我说出这句话的话，我百分之一百会听不懂，后来赶紧找词霸，才明白clock in是“用打卡机记录上班时间”的意思).

　　Brian: yes, he's not clocking in right now, but I am, u r right.

　　Nikky: full time job needs that.

　　Brian: yes.

　　Nikky: what r they doing now? do u keep in touch with them?

　　Brian: not really, my life is with my brother here in shanghai, it's all about me and him.

　　Nikky: u don't hear from then? (你和表兄们不怎么联系么？)

　　Brian: once in a while, I hear from them, or this or that.

　　Nikky: u go through ur own cycles in life(你有自己的生活轨道).

　　Brian: everybody goes through their own life cycle(每个人都会有自己的生活轨道).

　　Brian: and u have ur own cycle, with ur class and ur students and ur mom, right?

　　Nikky: right.

　　Nikky: I'm very pro-America and pro---I love the here I am and pro this(pro正面地).

　　Nikky: but I understand that some things are fair and some things aren't, and that's the way it is and I deal with it, my cycle.
