  Passage 1

  1. companies videos。

  2. fans, boring。

  3. classical, music。

  4. rock, roll。

  5. one, of。

  Passage 2

  2. D可从“You can easily see where Hollywood is in Los Angeles.”或“The Hollywood sign is a famous landmark in Los Angeles.”

  4. C由句子“You can listen to all kinds of music at the Hollywood Bowl.”

  5. A由句子“Not all famous film stars live in Hollywood.”

  Passage 3

计算过程如下:1Oct ~31Dec(10~12月),1Jan ~31Mar(1~3月),1May ~31May (5月1~31日),1Jun ~30Sep(6~9月)。

  Passage 4

  2. D “数字+years old ”表示“……

  7. B go on doing sth.

  10. Call of sb.

1.Some fans who like rock music think classical music is boring.

  在本句中,“who like rock music”作“some fans”的定语,而且要后置。

2.The design of the stage was by the great American architect Frank Lioyd Wright.

其结构是:was/were +done(动词的过去分词)。如: The bridge was built last year.
