　　Laura's mom went across the street to welcome the new neighbours. She told Laura not to touch one cookie on the cookie plate while she was at the neighbours. When her mom got back there was only one cookie left on the plate. Laura's mom said she wasn't supposed to eat any. Laura said, "I didn't touch one cookie!" Her mom told her to go to her room until she stopped lying. If Laura is telling the truth and there was only one cookie on the plate, how is this possible?
