小学（PYP）：小学课程运用IB六个超学科主题，设置双语教学，力主实施以深度理解为特征的国际学习方式，扎实落实国家课标的知识、技能，精心开设国家课程、国学经典和选修课程，运用多种方式全面评估学生所学到的知识、技能、态度、概念和实践。学会用各种方式解决问题。
中学（IMYC和IGCSE）：我校在七、八年级把国学课程和国际IMYC课程相结合。从2017年9月开始，九年级将开设IGCSE课程。国学和国际课程的融合，致力于培养学生拥有渊博的知识，懂得尊重，富有同情心。通过严谨的文化知识学习，能够把中国的传统价值观与国际视野有机结合，将来会成为被世界各大院校认可的杰出学生。

What kind of education does CITIC LAKE Bilingual International School （CBIS） offer？
CBIS is a coeducational boarding school for 6 to 19 year old students。 Our mission is to develop a Student Learner profile that reflects the attributes we feel will contribute to our students becoming successful life-long learners and we discovered that our core values coincide perfectly with the International Baccalaureate （IB） Student Learner Profile。 CBIS will therefore set about becoming an authorized IB World school。 Our present curriculum is drawn for the International Primary Curriculum （IPC） and the International Middle Years Curriculum （IMYC）。 These curriculums will be delivered using many of the teaching methodologies adopted by IB school around the world。

The Primary Years Programme （PYP）， the Middle Years Programme （MYP） and the Diploma Programme （DP） are all housed under the International Baccalaureate （IB）。 The IB Diploma is valued throughout the world as a highly successful means of entry into universities everywhere。
The International Primary Curriculum
The International Primary Curriculum is a fully comprehensive curriculum that describes the important content to be learned， and gives flexible guidelines as to how that content may be delivered。 At CBIS， we will deliver that curriculum within a framework integrated by six transdisciplinary themes that have global significance：
Study of all these subjects will lead to students acquiring the attributes listed in our Student Learner Profile。
The International Middle Years Curriculum
The International Middle Year Curriculum （IMYC）will contribute to develop our student profile。 The content of the IMYC is a progression from IPYC that prepares students for pre-tertiary studies。
IMYC students will move to a learning assessment structure that consists of seven subject groups。
The Future of Graduating CBIS Students
We at CBIS believe that， by the time we have our first graduation， the school will have become authorized to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma。 The Diploma programme is an extremely rigorous academic programme that， amongst many other challenges， requires students to submit an Extended Essay， to study the “Theory of Knowledge” and to engage in a Community Action and Service Programme。
The International Baccalaureate is a gateway to the best universities in the world and here at CBIS we want the best for students。
