　　A new study claims to have cracked predicting solar cycles - and says that between 2020 and 2030 solar cycles will cancel each other out。据悉，一项新的研究预测出了太阳周期，称2020年和2030年期间太阳周期会彼此抵消。

　　This, they say, will lead to a phenomenon known as the 'Maunder minimum' - which has previously been known as a mini ice age when it hit between 1646 and 1715, even causing London's River Thames to freeze over。他们称，这回导致一种叫做“蒙德极小期” 的现象，此前出现这种现象是在1646和1715年间发生的小冰河期，甚至导致伦敦的整条泰晤士河都冰冻住了。
