Standing before the traffic light at the crossing of life, some teens lose their directions and forget what they really expect. Are we going to study in universities or step into society and receive informal higher education?
There has been considerable controversy over the comparison between formal education and the alternative one. To my mind, what really counts is whether the form of education suits the student。
Most people choose universities to fulfill their dreams of further study. They learn their major subjects step by step, and attend social activities to improve interaction skills. The formal college education plays the most important part of today’s education without doubt。
However, it’s not the only way to go. Informal higher education is also an indispensable role on the stage of education。
In today’s China, the universities cannot meet the demand of all candidates. Thus other forms of education is (are) severely needed. Students can manage their time more freely while receive (when receiving) informal higher education. Many celebraties (celebrities) walked through this way and finally reached their goals。

With the development of modern society, various kinds of educations are on their own stages. Among them, which kind of university should be prevailed is the most controversial. Some people maintain that universities are the best place for young people, while others deem correspondence courses or evening classes and open universities are better choice. Heated debates are right on their way. You should be fully a- ware of the advantages and disadvantages of both kinds. First, nowadays, to attend a university needs so much money that a lot of families cannot afford to realize their children’s dream. On the contrary, the informal higher education cost less. Meanwhile, students can spent (spend) less time in school. In addition, university, as it were, exerts too much pressure on students. Some students choose the informal higher education in the hope of having more freedom and rights。
In my opinion, it is so crucial to make a wise chooce (choice) that we cannot afford to make a mistake. After a careful consideration, I stand on the side of the former. Despite the fact that university has its backdraws (drawbacks)， its advantages are more obvious. In the new century, our country needs a great many experts. We should try our best to make our country more beautiful, restful and peaceful。
