　　Looking back and looking forward are two kinds of attitudes toward life. Mostly, the young people prefer to look forward and think of their future. On the contrary, the old ones like to look back and learn lessons from their experiences. In fact, when we are growing up, we should both look back and look forward.

　　Both looking back and looking forward have their advantages. On the one hand, looking back can help us avoid making the same mistakes and achieve success more easily. On the other hand, looking forward will enable us to go ahead courageously. By looking forward, we can make plans and then strive to accomplish them.

　　In short, both looking forward and looking backward will contribute to our cause. But we should use them properly. If we only look back and not forward, we will waste time. If we look forward without looking back, we may make mistakes which hinder our cause. So we should look back and forward at the same time. Only in this way can we achieve greater success.

　　If we don’t give up when it is necessary, not only cannot we succeed but also will we be hurt. Take me for example: In the past, I could never make concessions when I argue with others. And because of this I have lost many good friends. They said I was stubborn and cold-hearted!

　　Therefore, people should give up wisely under a certain circumstance. One case is that when the objective is beyond our ability or it is an impossible mission, it is much wiser for us to give it up than to stick to it. And when we are arguing with others about tastes and personal opinions, it is unnecessary for us to insist, too.

In a word, during these five years, the urban citizens’ living standard has increased a lot.

　　This change first of all is due to the rapid development of the economy. During these five years, China’s economy has been growing rapidly and steadily. And the industry in cities is especially witnessing prosperity. While urban citizens’ incomes have increased tremendously their concept of consumption has undergone a change accordingly. People no longer feel content with adequate food and clothes. On the contrary, they are pursuing a more comfortable and colorful life. Thus, they spend more money on domestic electronic appliances and other entertainment activities.

　　Though we could see from the chart that people are living a better life, there still exit some problems in the consumption structure. It is obvious that the Engel’s coefficient is still very high which means our country is not very affluent.

　　Then how to deal with this issue? Technology is only a partial solution to information security.
