高考英语复习：交际应答别用汉语方式

　　例二：——I'm taking my driving test tomorrow.

　　——____!

　　A. Cheers

　　B. Good luck

　　C. Come on

　　D. Congratulations

　　答案B，用来表示在别人做事情之前表达祝愿。A 选项是“干杯”,与情景不适宜；C项的意思是“过来”、“加油”的意思；D项表示“祝贺”。因为是明天参加考试，还不知结果，因此表达“祝贺”不合适。

　　例三：——Let me help you carry your travel case to the station, Granny.

　　——Oh, no, my boy. It is ____________ heavy. _______.

　　A. so; What a good boy

　　B. not so; Thanks a lot

　　C. rather; How kind of you

　　D. not too; Thank you anyway.

　　答案D。后者委婉地拒绝了帮助，在回答时表达出“还是要感谢你”。A 、C都与前面的Oh, no的语境不符。

　　例四：——I didn't know this was one-way street, officer.

　　——_______.

　　A. That's all right

　　B. I don't believe you

　　C. How dare you say that

　　D. Sorry, but that's no excuse.

　　答案D。从句中的I didn't know 说明我先前不知道，从后文this was a one-way street看出来司机是走了单行路，违章了。下面警察的回答应当是D，“那不能是借口。”

　　例五：——Dad! Tom's broken a glass!

　　——________. Accidents will happen.

　　A.No way

　　B.Doesn't matter

　　C.No trouble at all

　　D.Don't mention it

　　答案B，根据答语后句“意外总是避免不了”，说明爸爸并不介意，所以选择“没关系”；A是“不可能”；C是“一点都不麻烦”；D是回答感谢。

　　三、交际应答要掌握好语言结构知识和词汇知识

　　选择交际用语的答话，在很多时候还要理解好英语词的搭配、句式结构，甚至是词的语境下的词义。

　　例一：——Isn’t his job satisfactory?

　　—— We can’t praise it too highly.

　　A.Yes，it is

　　B.I think just so—so

　　C.No, it isn’t

　　D.Not so nice，you know

　　答案A，要特别注意答语后半句的双否结构“can’t…too…”是“怎么也不为过”的意思。因此，他的工作我们怎么表扬也不为过，那么他的工作应当令人满意，故应作肯定回答。再如：You can’t be too careful when you cross the road.“过马路要格外小心。”

　　例二：——You haven't been to Beijing, have you?

　　——_____. How I wish to go there.

　　A. Yes, I have

　　B. Yes, I haven't

　　C. No, I have

　　D. No, I haven't

　　答案D。由答语后句“How I wish to go there!”可知他是很盼望去那，因此可以知道他还没有去过，因此要回答D。B，C项有语法错误；A事实不符。

　　例三：——It's a long time since I saw my sister.

　　——_______________ her this weekend?

　　A. Why not visit

　　B. why not to visit

　　C. Why not visiting

　　D. Why don't visit

　　答案A，考查对省略句掌握的熟练程度。相当于说“Why don't you do…”。其他选项均有结构上的错误。

　　例四：——Mum, I've cut my finger. It's bleeding !

　　——______.

　　A. Let me see

　　B. Don't worry

　　C. Be careful

　　D. Let me have a look

　　答案D。本题容易误选为A，要特别注意Let me see是“让我想一想”，不符逻辑；B用来告诉别人不要害怕、担心，孩子手破了,不能用Don't worry去安慰，要快行动；C选项，要用在事情未发生之前，给予提醒，不符合语境。.

　　例五：——Now let’s move on to another topic. Do you follow me?

　　——_______, Professor.

　　A. No, I am not

　　B. Yes, I will

　　C. No, I haven’t

　　D. Yes, perfectly
