　　Dawang village has 99 families. Since 1988 great changes have taken place in the villagers’ life. Eighteen years ago, the whole village had only 1 color TV, but now there are as many as 102 color TV sets. And in 1988, not a single family owned the fridge； now 69 families have bought it. In the past, only one family had a washing machine, but now 55 families use machines to wash their clothes. Computers are very popular in the village now. There are altogether 16 computers in the village, but not a single family had a computer 18 years ago. What a happy life they are living now!
